Before Ignacio Garcia ran construction companies, he swung a hammer. In 2002 he was building custom homes as a carpenter, learning what separates good work from great work. Those lessons still guide every project KGI takes on.

He founded Garcia Builders in 2006, then founded Skyrise Construction Group in 2012 to bring that craftsmanship to multifamily projects. In 2019 he launched KGI Construction Group to lead projects from start to finish as a full-service general contractor.

Clients know Ignacio for his ability to filter unnecessary costs early in design, saving money without cutting corners. His experience with entitlements, contract negotiations, and municipal relationships keeps complex projects moving. He’s the rare leader who is just as comfortable in a city council meeting as on a jobsite.
