Project manager

Overview: As a Project Manager at K|G|I Constructions, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will lead a team of professionals, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Create detailed project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines throughout the project lifecycle
  • Budget Management: Prepare project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Identify and address cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively address issues as they arise and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Quality Control: Ensure that construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and address any quality concerns promptly

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • WExceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera).
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.
Working Conditions
This position primarily operates in an office environment but requires frequent visits to construction sites. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and construction hazards. Regular travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.   • Professional Engineer (PE) license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification) are a plus.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our team.
